Cabo de Gata – perspective from the first mate

We escaped the weather in Gibraltar and found a beautiful anchorage in southern Spain which was a perfect resting place for us and the crew.  The Spanish coastline of Costa Blanca is spectacular with its unique white rock layered in the huge clifs that dive into the Mediterranean.    The kitties were begging us to stop at this anchorage named after them (or maybe they were begging for food) but it was well worth it.  Little Tux was especially excited to see the cape of cats that we gave him a closer look from the bow on skippers lap (see pic).  It was nice to be back in Spain.
